White noise, rain sounds, ocean and a fireplace — layered the way you like them, with a sleep timer and an alarm clock that treats your morning gently. Nod is sleep sounds and a smart alarm with good manners, and it works completely offline.
The rain you like, over the low brown noise that settles your mind, with a distant train passing through: that's your mix, and in Nod you can build it, name it, and keep it.
FORTY SOUNDSCAPES, ALL INCLUDED
Around forty original sounds loop seamlessly all night — steady rain, rain on a window, rain on a tin roof, ocean, creek, fireplace, campfire, fans, a distant train, café murmur, crickets, the baby shush cluster, and the deep noise colours the wave is built on: white noise, pink, brown and green.
Every one is generated on your phone rather than streamed or bundled, so the loop point is a mathematical continuation instead of a splice. You never hear the join, and it is checked by our build rather than promised in a listing.
MIX YOUR PERFECT NIGHT
Layer up to four sounds, set each one's volume, and save it with a name. There is no limit on how many mixes you make and no sound is held back.
YOUR MIXES ARE YOURS
Every mix you save becomes a file on your phone. Export it, back it up, move it to a new phone, keep it for years. There is no server holding your mixes, so there is nothing for anyone to take back later. That is architecture, not a promise.
NO MICROPHONE. AT ALL.
The microphone permission does not exist in this app. Not switched off — absent. Nod could not record your bedroom even if someone told it to, and the Privacy screen shows you the permission list so you can check.
AN ALARM YOU CAN TRUST
Nod asks your phone for exact-alarm rights, walks you through the one battery setting that matters on your device, and confirms each night that you're set. Your wake-up sound fades in slowly over one to ten minutes, or a classic bell if you like it sharp. The snooze does exactly what you told it to — the length you set, the number of times you set, no tricks.
And there is never an advertisement between you and turning off your alarm.
IT TELLS YOU THE TRUTH IN THE MORNING
Nod checks every morning whether it rang when it said it would, and the morning screen says so. If your phone ever stopped us overnight, it says that too, plainly, and offers to fix it. Silence after a failure is the one thing we won't do.
BUILT FOR A DARK ROOM
The night screen is true black with a dim clock, so it costs almost nothing on an OLED display and nothing on it flashes at 1am. The battery page publishes what all-night playback actually costs, measured, and it changes when it gets worse.
WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No account. Nothing to sign up for. Every sound is made on your device, so aeroplane mode changes nothing.
SLEEP TIMER
Fade out after 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes — the sound thins over the last minute rather than cutting. Or choose "until my alarm" and let the night hand over to the morning.
NOD PRO, IF YOU WANT IT
Everything above stays included: all forty soundscapes, the mixer, your exportable mixes, the alarm. None of it goes behind a purchase.
Pro is one payment, no subscription. It adds the seasonal packs and turns off the few daytime banners. Any seasonal pack still unlocks free by watching a short video, exactly as before.
Fall asleep to Nod. Wake up to Nod. The whole night, treated gently.

WHAT PEOPLE COME HERE LOOKING FOR
White noise for sleeping. Rain sounds for sleeping. Brown noise to focus or to settle a racing mind. A fan sound that does not loop badly. Ocean waves, a creek, a campfire, a café. A white noise machine that lives in your pocket instead of on the nightstand. A sleep timer that fades out instead of stopping dead. And a sleep sounds alarm clock that actually rings.
A note on the baby sounds: keep the volume low and the phone off the cot.
Nod plays sounds and rings bells. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and makes no claims about your health.
White noise, rain sounds & sleep timer with a gentle alarm clock. Offline.
